Our spices:
Cardamom and ginger will shine as you take your first sip, with a lovely, warm background flavour of cinnamon. As you continue you’ll get aniseed notes from the cloves which compliment the other spices wonderfully, followed by a hint of fennel for a super aromatic finish. Adding a little sweetness to your masala chai will really make those spices sing and bring out the flavours.
Original Masala Chai Blend:
Ingredients: Organic BOP Assam tea leaves, organic cinnamon, cardamom pods, organic dried ginger root, organic cloves, organic black peppercorns, organic fennel seeds.
Organic Assam tea leaves from the Ethelwold Tea Estate in Upper Assam, India that have a real full-bodied, malty flavour that work beautifully with the fragrant spices. A traditional masala chai at its best!
Rooibos Masala Chai:
Ingredients: Organic Rooibos tea leaves, organic cinnamon, cardamom pods, organic dried ginger root, organic cloves, organic black peppercorns, organic fennel seeds.
Organic Rooibos tea leaves that are grown in the Cederberg Mountains of the South African Bush for a caffeine-free twist on a traditional masala chai! This incredible tea pairs brilliantly with the fragrant, punchy spices and has quite a sweet, floral flavour thats beautifully balanced for a lighter, more herbal masala chai.
